Your Voice for Justice in Ohio Employment and Civil Rights Matters

Helen M. Robinson

Helen has worked at Marshall Forman & Schlein LLC since graduating from law school, first as a law clerk, and now as an attorney. She received her B.A. cum laude from Ohio University and her J.D., magna cum laude with a concentration in Employment and Labor Law, from Capital University Law School.

Prior to law school, Helen worked at a major insurance company for over 20 years, where she held positions as Human Resources Specialist, HR Supervisor, Regional HR Manager, Corporate HR Director, and Assistant Vice President, Human Capital. She also held multiple executive positions in various business units, with profit and loss accountability for several large regional operations.

Although Helen enjoyed making a difference in the corporate sector, she was always interested in law and seeking justice for others, which led her to return to school to earn a law degree. She understands how large companies operate behind the scenes and leverages that knowledge to advocate for her clients.

Professional memberships include the Ohio State Bar Association, the Columbus Bar Association, the Ohio Employment Lawyers Association, and the Women Lawyers of Franklin County Bar Association. Helen is often a presenter at the Ohio State Bar Association’s annual Midwest Employment and Labor Law Conference. She is also on the faculty of the National Business Institute, where she develops and presents workshops on employment law and Human Resources issues.
