Since he joined the firm in 2014, Sam Schlein has devoted his career to representing individuals in employment and civil rights litigation. He was named partner in 2022. His practice areas include discrimination, retaliation, wrongful discharge, sexual harassment, police misconduct, and prison conditions. Sam also provides guidance around employee contracts including non-compete agreements, executive contracts, and severance agreements.

Sam has tried employment and civil rights matters in Federal and State Courts and has argued in front of the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Sam received his B.A. magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh in 2011 and his J.D. magna cum laude from Capital University Law School in 2014.

Professional Memberships include the Columbus Bar Association Employment Law Group, the Ohio Employment Lawyers Association, and the Ohio State Bar Association. Sam was named to the Top 40 Under 40 Plaintiffs’ attorneys list by the National Trial Lawyers in 2022-23.

Sam was named as a Super Lawyer Rising Star for 2022-23.
